Terms of Service

bemycoop is a community website for finding co-op partners and reviewing co-op games. It is operated by M.O.B.A. Network AB, a company registered in Sweden.

This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any specific game publisher. Game titles, cover art, icons, and rank emblems shown on bemycoop are the property of their respective owners; we surface them under fair-use / informational use to describe the games being discussed here.

By using this site you agree to these terms. If you disagree, please do not use the site.

• The site is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use.
• Game data is curated by us based on public information about each title.
• Reviews represent individual player opinions, not professional game-balance assessments or official ratings.
• We make no guarantee that any review or LFG listing accurately represents the experience you will have when actually playing with another user.

You can create an account in one of two ways:

• Email + password — requires a working email address. We'll send a verification link; you must click it before you can sign in. Your password is stored only as a bcrypt hash, never in plain text.
• Discord — uses Discord's OAuth flow. Discord verifies your email for us, so no extra verification step is needed on bemycoop. We receive your Discord username, avatar, email, and Discord ID; we do not get your Discord password.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You confirm this when you sign up.

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity on your account. If you think someone else has accessed your account, change your password from the Edit Profile page or contact us.

You can delete your account at any time from Edit Profile. Deletion is permanent: it removes your profile, your LFG listings, every review you authored, every review left about you, and your helpful-votes. We do not keep backups of deleted accounts.

When you post content on bemycoop (LFG listings, reviews, helpful votes, reports), the following applies:

• You retain ownership of content you create.
• By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display it on the site and in incidental communications about the site (e.g., social-media previews).
• You can edit or delete your own content at any time.
• We reserve the right to remove content that violates our rules (see the next section), or to delete listings whose authors have been reported repeatedly for misuse.

When using community features, you agree not to:

• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users.
• Post spam, advertisements, scams, or off-topic content.
• Impersonate other users, real people, or public figures.
• Post content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes on others' intellectual-property or privacy rights.
• Submit fake or coordinated reviews to manipulate ratings, or create multiple accounts to vote on the same content.
• Abuse the report system by filing reports in bad faith.
• Attempt to exploit, hack, scrape at scale, or otherwise disrupt the site or its infrastructure.

We may suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these rules. We may also remove offending listings, reviews, or other content without notice when we believe the rules have been broken.

If you see a listing that violates these rules, use the “Report” link on the listing card to flag it for review. Reports are reviewed by our admin team and acted on at our discretion.

The site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the site will be available at all times, that data will be accurate or complete, or that the site will be free of errors or security vulnerabilities.

bemycoop is a way to find people to play games with. The interactions you have with other users (in voice chat, in-game, on Discord, etc.) happen outside of bemycoop and are entirely between you and those users. To the fullest extent permitted by law, M.O.B.A. Network AB is not liable for any damages, claims, or losses arising from your use of this site or from interactions with other users you find through it.

bemycoop's name, layout, branding, and original copy are owned by M.O.B.A. Network AB. Game titles, cover art, icons, rank emblems, and other third-party assets shown on the site remain the property of their respective owners and are used here for identification and discussion purposes.

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be noted by updating the “Last updated” date at the top. For material changes that affect your rights, we'll notify registered users by email when reasonably possible. Continued use of the site after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes will be resolved in Swedish courts, except where consumer-protection laws of your country of residence give you stronger rights.
